  • Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens' is a fast-growing evergreen conifer widely celebrated for its rich, dark green foliage that retains its vibrant color throughout the winter.
  • Because of its dense and naturally pyramidal growth habit, this cedar is highly favored for creating impenetrable privacy screens and windbreaks.
  • When its scale-like leaves are gently crushed, this cedar boasts a distinctive, sweet pineapple-like aroma that delightfully perfumes the surrounding air.
  • Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens' is a remarkably resilient plant that thrives in a wide range of well-draining soil types while tolerating both full sun and partial shade.
  • Unlike many other common hedging conifers, this cedar responds exceptionally well to regular pruning and possesses the rare ability to regenerate gracefully from older wood.
