Vanilla scented white flowers with soft brown anthers held just above the water surface by floating red and green leaves
Also known as Water Hawthorn, this remarkable plant is free flowering, producing blooms throughout the year except for a period of dormancy in August
Petioles up to a metre long rise from tubers growing at the bottom of the pond
A perfect partner for water lilies, as they grow in the same area but flower at different times
Ideal for medium to large ponds and lakes
